The SWEC School of Nursing, promoted by the Society for Social Welfare and Educational Centre (SWEC) provides professional nursing education at the diploma level for students hailing mostly from rural and semi-urban areas.
Since its establishment in 2001, the school has attained prominence among its peers for imparting ample knowledge, skill and expertise enabling its graduates to function as efficient nurses and effective members of the healthcare delivery team. The school equally focuses on inculcating integrity, hardwork and social commitment, besides developing soft skills to equip the graduates to emerge as competent global citizens.
